This is an exciting opportunity to join the Communications team at the heart of Scotland's renewable energy sector. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Digital, you will play a key role in delivering engaging marketing campaigns, promoting industry-leading events and supporting digital communications activity across the organisation.
Working closely with colleagues across communications, events, membership and policy, you'll help raise the profile of Scottish Renewables, engage members and stakeholders, and support the delivery of campaigns that contribute to the growth of Scotland's renewable energy industry.
The Role
You'll support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across a range of digital channels, with a particular focus on promoting Scottish Renewables' events programme. The role combines event marketing, social media management, content creation and performance reporting, offering exposure to a broad range of marketing activities.
Responsibilities will include coordinating event promotion, managing website content, scheduling social media activity, producing email campaigns, creating engaging digital content and monitoring performance against marketing KPIs. You'll also work collaboratively across the organisation to identify and promote stories, achievements, events and opportunities relevant to members and stakeholders.
About You
This role would suit a creative and organised marketing professional who enjoys producing engaging content, promoting events and using digital channels to connect with audiences. You'll be comfortable managing multiple projects at once, bringing a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
Experience working in a marketing, communications, events or similar role.
Strong social media and digital marketing experience.
Excellent written communication, copywriting and proofreading skills.
Experience creating digital content, marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
Experience using graphic design platforms such as Canva or similar tools.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
An analytical mindset with the ability to track campaign performance and engagement metrics
Experience of video editing, especially with software like Adobe Express, would be advantageous.Experience supporting event marketing, maintaining websites or CMS platforms, working with CRM systems, or working within a membership organisation or trade association would be desirable.
