How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We’re Hiring: Project Manager – Major Government Tender Delivery

    Structured Network Technology Ltd (SNT)

Following SNT’s successful award of a major government tender, we’re expanding our delivery team and looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the mobilisation and delivery of secure telecommunications and passive infrastructure works across government and Defence environments. The right person will have an essential understanding of ECRs, relevant JSP installation guidelines and SCIDA requirements, with a formal SCIDA qualification considered desirable.

    About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join SNT at a key stage of growth, working on nationally important infrastructure projects across secure, operational and geographically dispersed sites.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of assigned work packages from survey and scope development through to planning, delivery, commercial control, assurance and handover.

The role would suit a confident project professional with experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, fibre infrastructure, secure network installation or a similar technical delivery environment.

    What You’ll Be Doing

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and delivering SNT work packages under the awarded programme, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client, technical, commercial and security requirements.

    You’ll be involved in:

    *

Planning and leading site surveys across secure government and Defence environments.

    *

Developing clear scopes of work, delivery packs and technical recommendations.

    *

Coordinating structured cabling, fibre, passive network infrastructure and associated site works.

    *

Managing programmes, lookaheads, resources, procurement and delivery schedules.

    *

Working closely with clients, site contacts, field teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

    *

Tracking project risks, actions, commercial changes and delivery progress.

    *

Supporting testing, certification, quality assurance and handover documentation.

    *

Helping SNT deliver consistent, compliant and high-quality outcomes across the awarded programme.

    What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in speaking with Project Managers who have a strong technical delivery background and the confidence to operate in controlled, safety-focused and security-conscious environments.

    Ideally, you’ll bring:

    *

MOD, Defence, secure government estate or critical national infrastructure experience.

    *

Project management experience within telecoms, structured cabling, fibre, engineering, construction, utilities or Defence infrastructure.

    *

A strong understanding of site surveys, scope development, planning and technical coordination.

    *

Experience managing subcontractors, field teams, suppliers and multi-site delivery activity.

    *

Good commercial awareness, including budget control, change management and risk tracking.

    *

Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients, site teams and senior stakeholders.

    *

A structured approach to documentation, compliance, quality and assurance.

    *

Essential understanding of ECR processes, relevant JSP installation guidelines and SCIDA expectations for secure government and Defence environments.

    *

Current SC clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain the required clearance.

    *

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Experience That Would Be a Bonus

    *

PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent project management qualification.

    *

Experience with controlled access procedures, permit-to-work environments and site-specific governance.

    *

Formal SCIDA qualification or prior involvement in SCIDA-led assurance, design review, installation governance or ECR approval activity.

    *

Familiarity with inspection, test certification, quality packs and handover documentation.

    Why Join SNT?

    *

Join SNT at an exciting stage of growth following a major government tender award.

    *

Play a key role in delivering secure infrastructure across nationally important environments.

    *

Work with an experienced, delivery-focused team that values safety, quality and client confidence.

    *

Take ownership of meaningful projects with visibility across SNT’s senior leadership team.

    *

Help shape SNT’s continued growth in the government, Defence and secure infrastructure sector.

If this sounds like the right next move for you, we’d be pleased to hear from you. Please send your CV, covering note and salary expectations to SNT for consideration, or get in touch for a confidential conversation
