Electrician
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a Facilities Management team based at a single healthcare site in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a vital public sector environment, carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure healthcare facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults across the site.
Undertake electrical testing, inspection, and maintenance works.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current regulations and health & safety requirements.
Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately.
Liaise professionally with site staff, healthcare personnel, and Facilities Management teams.
Support compliance activities and statutory inspections.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must possess all of the following:
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised qualification.
Proven experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding.
Desirable
Experience working within Facilities Management environments.
Electrical Testing and Inspection qualifications.
Knowledge of NHS or healthcare estates.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
