How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Summary:

    The Service Desk Assistant’s primary responsibility is to manage the acknowledgement and assignment of tickets in the NTT DATA Business Solutions ticketing tool ensuring at all times that published Service Level Agreements (incidents only) are adhered to. The Service Desk Assistant must ensure high customer satisfaction is delivered to both NTT Data Business Solutions internal and external customers.


    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Service Desk:

    • Monitor solution manager ticketing system for new / assigned tickets during core business hours
    • Acknowledge all tickets according to Service Level Agreements
    • Ensure tickets are categorised and prioritised correctly
    • For priority 1 tickets, follow communication procedures
    • Review tickets to ensure appropriate data is contained to allow the Application Consultants to progress the incident.
    • Assign tickets to the appropriate support queues
    • Resolve appropriate level 1 tickets
    • Testing of new functionality within the ticketing system
    • Administrative tasks within the SAP Portal


    Reporting

    • Run management and customer reports per schedules


    Due Diligence

    • Complete proactive weekly checks on maintenance ticket status and action accordingly


    Customer Account Management

    • Cultivate professional relationships with clients
