The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate CAD Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate with experience using Autodesk Inventor and working with metal components or fabrication processes.
The successful candidate will support the design and development of engineered products, create detailed manufacturing drawings, and assist in bringing concepts through to production.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce 2D and 3D CAD designs using Autodesk Inventor
* Create detailed engineering and manufacturing drawings
* Assist in the design and development of metal fabricated and machined components
* Support prototype development and product testing activities
* Work closely with production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are manufacturable
* Modify and improve existing designs based on project requirements
* Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation
* Ensure designs comply with company and industry standards
* Participate in design reviews and engineering meetings
Requirements
Essential
* Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar
* Experience using Autodesk Inventor software
* Understanding of metal fabrication, sheet metal, or machined components
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
