How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You will deliver a combination of engaging group sessions and one-to-one support, adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs. You will help learners develop their confidence, communication, digital and employability skills while creating an inclusive environment where every learner is supported to achieve their potential.
As an ongoing sessional position, there is potential for continued work and further delivery opportunities for successful tutors.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, inclusive and accessible learning sessions tailored to the needs of neurodivergent adult learners.
Develop and adapt teaching methods, resources and activities to accommodate different learning styles, abilities and support needs.
Deliver group workshops covering areas such as confidence building, communication, employability, digital skills and preparation for the workplace.
Provide personalised one-to-one coaching and support based on individual learner needs and goals.
Help learners identify and overcome barriers to learning, progression and employment.
Support learners to develop practical strategies for managing challenges associated with their individual learning needs.
Encourage learners to recognise their strengths, develop self-confidence and build greater independence.
Support learners with CV development, job searching, job applications and interview preparation where appropriate.
Provide practical digital skills support, including navigating online platforms, email, job-search websites and online applications.
Set realistic and achievable goals with learners and monitor their progress throughout their learning journey.
Create a safe, welcoming and supportive learning environment that promotes inclusion and participation.
Identify where learners may benefit from additional support, adjustments or signposting to relevant services.
Maintain accurate learner records and ensure all required documentation is completed in line with organisational and contractual requirements.
Record learner progress, activities and outcomes accurately on the organisation’s database.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure learners receive appropriate support and guidance. Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience delivering neurodiversity, employability, adult learning, SEND or skills-based training.
Strong understanding of neurodiversity and the different barriers neurodivergent individuals may experience within education, training and employment.
Experience supporting individuals with diverse learning needs and abilities.
Ability to adapt teaching approaches and learning resources to meet individual needs.
Experience delivering engaging group learning sessions.
Confidence providing one-to-one coaching, mentoring or personalised learner support.
Strong IT and digital skills, with the ability to support learners with basic digital tasks.
Experience supporting learners with confidence building, employability skills, job searching or progression.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with learners.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
A patient, empathetic and flexible approach to supporting learners.
A genuine passion for promoting inclusion and helping neurodivergent individuals achieve their goals. Desirable Experience

Experience working with autistic learners or individuals with ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia or other neurodivergent profiles.
Experience within adult education, employability or vocational training.
Experience of delivering personalised learning plans or individualised support.
Relevant teaching, training, coaching or mentoring qualification.
Understanding of reasonable adjustments and inclusive teaching practices. What’s in It for You?

£26,000 – £28,000 per annum pro-rata.
Ongoing sessional work with potential for continued opportunities.
The opportunity to work with a nationally recognised training provider.
A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to learners’ confidence, skills and progression.
Consistent weekday delivery hours.
The opportunity to use your existing teaching, coaching or support experience in a specialist learning environment.
Potential for further sessional opportunities based on performance and business requirements. How to Apply
