How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Quality Operations Manager

    Burton upon Trent | Site-Based 

    12 Month Fixed Term Contract (scope to be made permanent)

    Talentmark is partnering with an established pharmaceutical manufacturer seeking an experienced Quality Operations Manager to join its senior quality leadership team. 

    This is a key role within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, where you’ll be responsible for leading quality and sterility assurance activities and ensuring the highest standards of GMP, compliance and patient safety.

    The Role:

    Reporting to the Head of Quality, you’ll lead a skilled quality function and play a key role in driving quality excellence across the manufacturing operation.

    Responsibilities:

    Lead quality and sterility assurance activities across the site.
    Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
    Managing investigations, CAPAs, change control and quality risk management.
    Driving continuous improvement across quality systems and processes.
    Developing and mentoring colleagues.
    Working closely with senior stakeholders, regulators and wider quality teams.Your Background:

    An experienced Quality leader with a strong background in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

    Essential:

    Degree in Pharmacy or a relevant science discipline
    Project management experience within aseptic processing, compounding or sterile manufacturing.
    Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements and quality systems.
    Proven project leadership and people-management experience.
    Experience managing investigations, CAPAs, change control and risk management.
    Experience of process improvement, projects or change implementation.This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of quality operations within an established pharmaceutical manufacturer and make a genuine impact on product quality, compliance and patient safety.
