Our client is a leading vehicle servicing and repairs company working predominantly within the fleet management sector. The company works with some highly recognised names within London and the southern home counties plus a lot of smaller business. The company is expanding and offers a clear career path for ambitious individuals. The role is site based within their Croydon depot. There are overtime opportunities available. ROLE:
* Communicate effectively with the admin team and customers to discuss required repairs.
* Estimate repair timelines and provide accurate expectations.
* Inspect vehicles thoroughly to diagnose necessary repairs and maintenance.
* Perform repairs or replace components as needed to ensure vehicles are in excellent working condition.
* Conduct road tests to verify the quality of repair work or diagnose additional issues.
* Carry out comprehensive vehicle system safety checks and servicing tasks.
* Execute routine maintenance, including oil and air filter changes, brake replacements, clutch repairs, gearbox adjustments, suspension work, and diagnostics.
CANDIDATE:
* Plant & Vehicle Fitting experience is required for this position.
* Full valid Driving Licence with 6 points or less.
* Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications.
* Maintain any required professional qualifications.
* Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
