How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    HGV Class 2 Driver – Pallet Distribution

    Croydon
    £38,120 per annum | Permanent Role | Immediate Starts Available

    Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy pallet distribution operation based in the Croydon area.

    This is a permanent opportunity offering stable, long-term work within a fast-paced transport environment servicing commercial customers across South London and surrounding areas.

    The role is ideally suited to drivers with previous multi-drop pallet network experience who are confident managing deliveries within busy urban routes.

    The Role

    You will be responsible for completing multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections to commercial customers across South London and surrounding areas.

    Duties include:

    *

    Driving Class 2 vehicles on scheduled delivery routes

    *

    Delivering and collecting palletised goods safely and efficiently

    *

    Loading and unloading using pump trucks and tail lifts where required

    *

    Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting daily

    *

    Ensuring delivery paperwork and PODs are completed accurately

    *

    Managing time-sensitive routes and delivery schedules

    *

    Providing professional customer service at delivery points

    *

    Maintaining compliance with all transport legislation and health & safety procedures

    This is a physically active role and drivers should be comfortable with manual handling duties where required.

    Requirements

    *

    Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence

    *

    Valid CPC Qualification

    *

    Digital Tachograph Card

    *

    Minimum 6 months Class 2 multi-drop experience required

    *

    Previous pallet network experience highly desirable

    *

    Good knowledge of South London and surrounding areas

    *

    Strong understanding of transport compliance and road safety

    *

    Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude
