Key responsibilities include:
Supervising whole classes in the absence of a teacher, ensuring students stay on task
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring learning continues smoothly
Providing feedback to teachers and school leaders on student progress and conduct
Supporting students across a range of year groups and subjectsIdeal candidates will have:
Experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring)
A confident and professional approach to classroom management
Excellent communication skills and a calm, positive attitude
A strong interest in education - ideal for those considering a future in teaching
