QA TECHNICIAN
LICHFIELD
£15.00 PER HOUR (£30,420 PER ANNUM)
PAY PROGRESSION AVAILABLE
OVERTIME AVAILABLE – 1.3X AFTER 39 HOURS & 1.5X AT WEEKENDS
DAY SHIFTS
MONDAY – THURSDAY: 7:30AM – 4:30PM
FRIDAY: 7:30AM – 12:00PM

Are you an experienced QA Technician or Quality Inspector looking for your next opportunity? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!

A leading manufacturer are looking to recruit a QA Technician to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis in Lichfield.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Conducting first-off, in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Carrying out inspections using measurement equipment
• Completing and maintaining inspection reports and quality documentation accurately.
• Assisting with root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Supporting internal quality audits and process checks.
• Liaising with production, engineering and management teams to resolve quality issue..
• Assisting with customer and supplier quality matters where required.
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality standards and systems.

We believe you would be a great fit if you have:

• Previous experience in a QA Technician, Quality Inspector or similar quality role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using inspection equipment including verniers, micrometres and other measuring tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good computer skills and experience completing quality documentation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
