Fabricator – Stone, Staffordshire
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in Stone, Staffordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable individual to join a fast-paced production environment, working with metal pipes and tubular components to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
The successful candidate will have previous fabrication experience, be confident using workshop machinery and hand tools, and be comfortable working rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricating metal pipes, tubular components and associated products.
* Cutting, measuring, preparing and assembling metal components to specification.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and measurements.
* Operating fabrication machinery, hand tools and workshop equipment.
* Ensuring all fabricated components meet required quality standards.
* Carrying out quality checks and identifying any defects.
* Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Following all health and safety procedures.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a fabrication or metalworking environment is essential.
* Experience working with metal pipes or tubular components would be advantageous.
* Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings.
* Confident using hand tools, measuring equipment and fabrication machinery.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, hardworking and able to meet production deadlines.
* Willingness to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday.
* Rotating morning and afternoon shifts.
* Full-time hours.
