They specialise in a number of Engineering disciplines and can offer variety with their works. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an organisation who have an exceptionally high staff retention rate and who have a demonstrable track record of nurturing and promoting from within.
Experienced Section Engineers and Senior Site Engineers are encouraged to apply.
Duties will include:
* Lead and coordinate engineering activities within your section, ensuring accurate execution of design, installation, and testing works.
* Interpret technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and approved plans to inform on-site delivery.
* Provide technical guidance and support to site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
* Identify and resolve technical/engineering issues promptly, escalating where appropriate.
* Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards in line with company and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and verification of workmanship against specification.
* Assist in preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and compliance documentation.

What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in a similar capacity for another Civil Engineering contractor
* Able to communicate with staff at all levels.
* Able to build and maintain strong working relationships.
* Willing to mentor and develop site staff.
* CSCS card
* SMSTS
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety in construction
* Degree/HND in Civil Engineering is preferred.
