A leading European manufacturer is seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Midlands region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business within an industrial, engineering or technical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing existing customer relationships and increasing market share throughout the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across the Midlands.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
Manage and grow existing accounts while increasing spend and share of business.
Deliver consultative sales solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.
Work collaboratively with internal technical and commercial teams to maximise opportunities.
Essential Requirements
Previous B2B sales experience within an industrial, engineering, manufacturing or technical sector is a prerequisite for this role.
Applicants must also demonstrate:
A strong background in new business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
The ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK and occasionally within Europe for product training and business meetings.
