Bid Manager

Hybrid – Didsbury, Manchester (3 days office / 2 days home)

£65,000 Basic + Car Allowance + Bonus + Healthcare + Holidays + Pension + Package

Are you an experienced Bid Manager looking for a role where you can make a real impact within a Tier 1 FM and energy services contractor? Do you want to be part of a high performing work winning team, bidding on meaningful contracts across social housing, decarbonisation and public sector frameworks?

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest and most respected FM and energy services businesses, operating across a broad range of sectors including planned maintenance, refurbishment and decarbonisation. As part of their continued growth in the North, they are looking for a Bid Manager to join their Places & Communities division, a team with real ambition and a strong pipeline of opportunities ahead.

You will take ownership of bids from cradle to grave, working closely with estimating, operations and business development teams to produce high-quality, compelling tender submissions. This is a Bid Manager role for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in their written work, and wants to be part of a business that is genuinely investing in its work-winning function.

Key Duties:

* Manage the full bid process from qualification through to submission across social housing, decarbonisation and public sector frameworks

* Develop win themes and bid strategy in collaboration with the Head of Estimating & Bids and Business Development team

* Coordinate internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver compliant, compelling responses on time

* Produce and review high-quality written content, ensuring submissions are aligned with client requirements

* Contribute to bid library management, case studies and lessons learned processes

Experience Required:

* Proven experience as a Bid Manager, ideally within social housing, refurbishment or decarbonisation environments

* Able to manage bids end-to-end with strong written and organisational skills

* Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across a large, matrix organisation

* Willing to commute to Didsbury, Manchester 3 days per week
