Key Responsibilities
Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
Assist children with additional educational needs and personalised learning approaches
Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning
Support positive behaviour strategies and classroom routines
Help prepare resources and support classroom organisation
Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Work effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to support pupil progress
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
Passionate about helping children learn and develop
Patient, caring, and supportive in their approach
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable
A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills
Previous experience in a school, childcare, or educational support role is desirable but not essential
