Location: Rugby Town Hall / Hybrid (2-3 days in office)
Pay rate: £14.82-£16.08 per hour
Working hours: 37 hours Monday-Friday
Assignment duration: 3 months temporary with review for extension
Job Purpose:
Provide dedicated, confidential, and efficient secretarial support to the Council's Mayor and Leadership team ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through proactive diary management, meeting coordination, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage diaries, appointments, and meeting preparation for Leadership Team members.
Provide administrative support to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, including the
co-ordination of their diaries and engagements, providing prompt responses to invitations for the Mayor/Deputy Mayor to attend functions
Provide comprehensive secretarial support, including minute-taking and agenda preparation.
Liaise with charities and third parties as required.
Receive and answer incoming communication including telephone calls and emails on behalf of Leadership Team
Support other PAs within the team and handle confidential matters with discretion.
Ensure compliance with data protection, health and safety, and council policies.Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Personal Assistant at senior management level.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
