Contract Manager – Facilities Management

Pareto FM is seeking an experienced and driven Contract Manager / Facilities Manager to lead integrated FM services at a high-profile, complex London site.
This is a fully site-based leadership role covering two buildings across six floors, responsible for operational delivery, team leadership, client relationships, and commercial performance.
Ideal for a hands-on FM leader who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and drives service excellence through strong teams.
Key Responsibilities
Full ownership of day-to-day FM operations (engineering, cleaning and support services). Lead and develop onsite Engineering and Housekeeping teams, ensuring consistent service delivery, quality standards and operational continuity. Act as escalation point for operational issues and incidents, and lead regular team meetings to drive accountability and performance.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships. Lead weekly client meetings covering performance, risks and improvements, and manage all client feedback and escalations through to resolution. Support wider account governance and strategic meetings as required.
Oversee financial performance including cost control and resource planning, while tracking and managing extra works to ensure accurate billing. Support budgeting, forecasting and variance reporting, and identify opportunities for efficiencies, savings and service improvements.
Ensure full statutory, regulatory and contractual compliance. Own site compliance including PPMs, reactive works and audit readiness. Monitor KPI and SLA performance and oversee subcontractor performance to ensure value for money. Support business continuity planning and incident management.
Maintain strong Health & Safety standards across site, ensuring safe systems of work are implemented and followed. Lead small to medium projects from scope to completion, managing timelines, budgets and delivery standards to ensure successful outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as Contract Manager / Facilities Manager (senior FM role)
* Strong knowledge of soft services and understanding of hard services
* Experience managing integrated FM services in a client-facing role
* Strong leadership skills to develop and challenge teams
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
* Experience with CAFM systems and BMS platforms
* High IT literacy (Google Workspace / Microsoft tools)
* Resilient and adaptable in fast-paced environments
