We’re working with a leading M&E contractor based in Chelmsford who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator. Our client works closely with a range of Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, as well as several well-known end clients, delivering mechanical solutions across a diverse range of commercial projects.
The Opportunity

As an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator, you’ll be involved in pricing a variety of exciting projects, gaining exposure to some of the most technically interesting work across the sector.

Projects include:

•Theatres and entertainment venues
•Schools and education facilities
•Hospitals and healthcare projects
•MOD and government facilities
•Corporate offices
•High-spec commercial developments

You’ll work closely with the wider pre-construction and commercial teams, developing your estimating skills while learning from some genuinely experienced people within the industry.
About You

We’re looking for someone with a solid grounding in mechanical estimating who is ready to broaden their experience and take on greater responsibility.

You’ll ideally have:

•Experience working as a Mechanical Estimator within the building services/M&E sector
•A good understanding of mechanical building services
•Experience pricing mechanical packages from drawings, specifications and tender documents
•The ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates
•Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
•Good communication skills and the confidence to work with clients, contractors and internal teams
•A genuine desire to develop your career within a high-performing M&E business
