This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business with over 50 years of experience designing, manufacturing and installing high-quality seating and furniture for prestigious hotels, restaurants, bars and commercial venues throughout the UK.
No previous upholstery experience is required. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with your hands and are looking to build a long-term career, full training will be provided by experienced craftsmen.
The Role
As a Trainee Upholsterer, you'll receive hands-on training while learning every aspect of the upholstery process. Working alongside skilled upholsterers, you'll develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to produce high-quality bespoke furniture to the exceptional standards our client is known for.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn a trade and build a rewarding long-term career within manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities

Learn the upholstery process from experienced team members.
Assist in manufacturing bespoke seating, chairs, booths, banquettes and commercial furniture.
Prepare materials, fabrics, leather and vinyl for production.
Learn how to measure, cut and fit upholstery materials accurately.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
Work as part of a friendly production team to meet customer deadlines.
Develop the skills required to become a fully qualified upholsterer. What We're Looking For

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good practical skills and an interest in working with your hands.
Excellent attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, woodworking, textiles, construction or DIY is beneficial but not essential.
