The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Production Coordinator, Kirkbymoorside
You will co-ordinate and support shop floor activities for the manufacture of subsea components.
Production Coordinator duties will include:
* Coordinate the release of production orders from Stores to the shop floor.
* Monitor the progress of production builds and provide status updates as required.
* Track the location and availability of kits, components and sub-assemblies throughout the manufacturing process.
* Receive and verify kits and shortages from Stores, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate kit tracking, shortage and production status records.
* Support Production Supervisors, Lead Hands and Technicians with day-to-day operational requirements.
* Liaise with Stores, Purchasing, Engineering and Quality departments to resolve production-related issues.
* Expedite materials, parts and documentation to support production schedules.
* Generate and issue job cards, work instructions and production documentation through the ERP system.
* Assist with workload planning and prioritisation of production activities.
* Monitor material shortages and escalate risks that could impact delivery schedules.
* Support inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) control activities.
What you need to be successful as a Production Coordinator:-
* Technical knowledge
* Good eye for detail
* Competent in the use of Microsoft packages, specifically Excel
* Experience of Microsoft Navision (Business Central) or similar ERP/MRP system
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Previous technical or mechanical experience (desirable)
