The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them engage with their learning.
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored education plans.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence.
Support students with communication, sensory, and behavioral needs, using appropriate strategies to enhance their development.
Adapt learning activities and materials to meet the individual needs of each student.
About You
To excel as a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Have experience working with children, ideally in an SEN or educational setting.
Be patient, compassionate, and committed to supporting students with additional needs.
Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
Be proactive, adaptable, and able to engage with students of varying abilities.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
