Pin Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 Driver Loaders to join a busy environmental services operation based in Southend-on-Sea.
This is a physically active role combining driving duties with hands-on collection work. Drivers will be expected to work alongside the crew to complete waste and recycling collections safely and efficiently across residential and commercial routes.
Duties:
* Driving Class 2 waste and recycling collection vehicles
* Assisting with loading and collection duties throughout the shift
* Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
* Working closely with loaders and operational teams
* Following planned collection routes and schedules
* Operating vehicle equipment safely and efficiently
* Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
* Providing a professional service when interacting with members of the public
* Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
* Valid Driver CPC Qualification
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
* Comfortable undertaking physical loading duties
* Reliable and hardworking attitude
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Understanding of health and safety procedures
Working Hours:
* Start times typically between 05:00 and 07:00
* Monday to Friday
* Ongoing work available
