Year 4 Teacher - Southend

Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Southend in their search for a Year 4 Teacher to join the team from September 2026.

The school is looking for a teacher who can bring energy, consistency, and a creative approach to the classroom while helping pupils develop confidence and independence as they move through Lower Key Stage 2. The position will involve:

Teaching a Year 4 class full-time

Delivering lessons that are engaging and appropriately challenging

Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities

Encouraging strong progress both academically and socially

Creating a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment

Working closely with parallel teachers and support staff

The ideal applicant will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have experience within a UK primary classroom

Be confident teaching the KS2 curriculum

Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills

Have a proactive and flexible attitude

Be passionate about delivering enjoyable and effective learning experiences
