Planning Lawyer – 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
An international law firm is seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join its team on a 6 month fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of planning and development matters, supporting high-profile projects and working closely with colleagues across the real estate and infrastructure practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on planning, highways and compulsory purchase matters
- Supporting major development and infrastructure projects
- Drafting and negotiating planning agreements and related documentation
- Managing transactions with minimal supervision
- Providing clear, commercial and pragmatic legal advice to clients
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with strong planning law experience
- Experience gained at a recognised law firm or in-house legal team
- Strong technical drafting and advisory skills
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Immediate or short-notice availability preferred
