Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Linear Recruitment are seeking an experienced Temporary Facades Site Manager to oversee re-cladding works on a major mixed-use entertainment complex in Birmingham.
The project will be delivered in phases, with the initial works focusing on low-rise sections of the development before progressing to the high-rise elements. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the safe and efficient delivery of the re-cladding programme, ensuring works are completed to the required quality standards and in line with the project schedule.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in facade installation, re-cladding and refurbishment projects, looking to join a significant project with a phased programme of works.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day delivery of facade re-cladding works, initially across low-rise buildings before progressing to the high-rise section.
Coordinate specialist facade subcontractors, site operatives, material deliveries and site logistics.
Ensure all installation and associated works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Monitor progress against the programme, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions to maintain progress.
Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality control and site housekeeping throughout all phases of the project.
Review and implement RAMS, carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with project health and safety procedures.
Coordinate access equipment, scaffolding, MEWPs and other temporary works as required.
Work closely with the Project Manager, client representatives, consultants and other trades to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
Oversee quality inspections, manage defects and ensure all works meet the required standards before sign-off.
Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and quality documentation.
Plan and coordinate the transition from the initial low-rise phase to the subsequent high-rise works, ensuring appropriate resources, access arrangements and working methods are in place.
Manage site activities within a complex mixed-use entertainment environment, minimising disruption and ensuring safe working practices are maintained.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager within the facade, cladding or building envelope sector.
