Due to continued growth and a significant increase in their project pipeline, the practice is looking to appoint an ambitious architectural professional to join their close-knit team. The business has recently secured a substantial education refurbishment workload, alongside an established portfolio of retail and commercial projects, creating an immediate need for additional project delivery expertise.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within education, refurbishment or retail, with education experience particularly desirable. Much of the current workload involves working with existing buildings, carrying out surveys, developing proposals and taking projects through the technical and delivery stages.
The practice operates with an all-round project delivery approach, rather than separating design and technical responsibilities. Team members are expected to take ownership of projects through multiple RIBA stages, with particular emphasis on Stages 3, 4 and 5. This is therefore an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing projects through to completion and wants to develop their technical, project-running and client-facing experience.
This role would suit an experienced Architectural Technologist looking to progress towards project running, or a strong Part 2 Architectural Assistant who has gained solid practical experience within an architectural practice and is looking for the next step in their career.
