MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading Luxury Beverages business on the search for a Head of Global Travel Retail, based in London.
This is a high-profile commercial role responsible for leading the Global Travel Retail strategy across a portfolio of internationally recognised luxury brands. Working closely with senior leadership, you will be accountable for driving commercial performance, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships across the global Travel Retail channel.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding international distribution, securing prestigious listings and delivering sustainable growth whilst protecting the premium positioning and brand equity of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Global Travel Retail strategy across international markets
- Build and manage relationships with key operators and strategic partners in channel
- Deliver annual sales targets, budgets and forecasting across the channel
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to accelerate global growth
- Develop long-term distribution plans in partnership with senior leadership
- Drive visibility, distribution and execution across key travel retail accounts
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to deliver impactful activation programmes
- Manage channel profitability whilst maintaining premium pricing and brand integrity
- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends and emerging opportunities across global markets
- Provide strategic commercial insight to support wider international business planning
- Represent the business globally through regular customer and market engagement
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years' experience within Global Travel Retail for a recognised Wine & Spirits business
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful Travel Retail sales strategies
- Experience working with key operators
- Background within Champagne, Sparkling Wine, Premium Spirits or luxury alcoholic beverages
- Strong understanding of premium route-to-market strategy and luxury brand management
- Demonstrated success delivering new business development and commercial growth within Travel Retail
- Strong commercial, financial and negotiation skills
- Established network of Global Travel Retail contacts and relationships
- Additional language skills advantageous
- WSET or equivalent Wine & Spirits qualifications desirable
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary: £80,000 - £100,000
- Performance-related bonus
