We are currently recruiting Class 2 Dustcart Drivers on behalf of one of the UK's leading waste management companies based in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time, ongoing role with the potential to become a permanent employee after a successful 12-week qualifying period.
Whether you're an experienced HGV Class 2 driver or have recently passed your test, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of commercial and household waste across designated routes in the local area. You will work closely with a team of loaders, ensuring collections are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.
Your Responsibilities
Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely and responsibly.
Collecting household and commercial waste on planned routes.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Following all road transport, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
Providing a professional and courteous service while working in residential and commercial areas.
Completing all required paperwork and complying with company procedures.
Requirements
Full UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.
Aged 21 years or over (for insurance purposes).
Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.
Good communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude.
Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
