We're looking for an Assistant Manager to join our specialist neurological care centre, Stagenhoe, in Hitchin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced health and social care professional to step into a leadership role where you can support colleagues, drive high-quality care, and make a real impact on people's lives.
What you'll be doing
* Supporting the day-to-day management of the service
* Leading, motivating and developing care teams
* Ensuring high standards of person-centred care
* Supporting recruitment, supervision and staff development
* Assisting with rotas, budgets and service performance
* Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and regulations
* Participating in the on-call rota
About you
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or willing to work towards
* Experience leading or supervising staff within a care setting
* Good understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards
* Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
* Passionate about delivering exceptional care and support
