Primary Supply Teacher - Bolton

As a supply teacher, you could work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preferences. Assignments can vary from individual day-to-day bookings through to longer-term placements, giving you the opportunity to choose work that fits around your circumstances.

Your main priority will be to provide a positive and consistent learning experience for pupils. You will follow existing lesson plans where provided, maintain classroom routines and ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

Typical supply teaching duties include:

Teaching classes across the primary age range
Delivering lessons in line with school planning
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Providing a safe and positive learning environment
Adapting activities where necessary to meet pupil needs
Liaising with school staff at the beginning and end of each assignment
Leaving appropriate feedback for the class teacherWe are particularly interested in hearing from teachers who are reliable, adaptable and confident working in different classroom environments.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience within a primary school
Strong classroom management
Good communication skills
