The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to take ownership of the finance function, with a particular focus on strengthening transactional finance processes and driving commercial insight.
This role will suit a finance leader who can operate strategically working closely wth the CEO while also improving day-to-day financial operations.
You will play a critical role in stabilising, optimising, and scaling the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and actionable business intelligence to support growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Oversight
* Lead and manage the finance team, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
* Provide clear direction, mentoring, and structure to the finance function
* Act as a key member of the senior leadership team
Transactional Finance (Core Focus)
* Review and improve end-to-end finance processes
* Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and compliance
* Oversee cash management, working capital, and treasury activities
* Drive process automation and efficiency improvements where appropriate
Commercial Finance (Core Focus)
* Partner with operational and sales teams to drive profitability and performance
* Develop and enhance pricing models, contract profitability analysis, and margin tracking
* Provide actionable insights on revenue, cost drivers, and business performance
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
* Evaluate capital expenditure
Reporting & Controls
* Ensure timely and accurate monthly management accounts
* Improve quality and clarity of financial reporting and KPIs
* Lead month-end and year-end close processes
* Support audit processes and statutory compliance
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, or senior finance leader in an interim capacity
* Strong background in both transactional finance and commercial finance
* Experience in operational or asset-heavy environments would be ideal
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Hands-on approach with the ability to “roll up sleeves” when needed
* Experience with finance systems and process automation
Qualifications
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
