The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are looking for a Trainee Mobile Service Engineer to join our growing team in the Midlands.
This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed an engineering apprenticeship, is currently part-way through an apprenticeship, or has gained practical experience working with machinery and is looking to develop a long-term career as a field service engineer.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting experienced engineers with servicing, maintenance and repairs
Assisting with fault diagnosis on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
Learning how to carry out equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
Supporting commissioning and setup of new equipment
Attending manufacturer and in-house training courses
Developing technical knowledge of Metso crushing and screening equipment
Completing service reports and documentation
Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
What We're Looking For
Recently completed or currently undertaking a relevant engineering apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience
Background or interest in construction plant, agricultural machinery, HGV/LGV, automotive, quarrying or heavy equipment industries
Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Good communication skills
Full UK driving licence or working towards obtaining one
