The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team. The role involves service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including air handling units and chiller systems, across commercial and industrial sites throughout the West Midlands, with occasional travel nationwide when required.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration, AHU, and chiller systems
Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting across a wide range of systems
Delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations and industry standards
Accurately completing service reports and documentation in a timely manner
Maintaining a high standard of customer service while on-site
Participating in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support Equipment You’ll Work On

We would like to hear from you if you have:
Proven experience as an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer
Strong working knowledge of AHU and chiller systems
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent)
Valid F-Gas certification (Category 1 preferred)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
