What You’ll be doing:
The role will involve:
* Supporting a qualified fee earner, in all aspects of their caseload, with a view to running your own caseload and becoming qualified in the longer term, under careful supervision
* Taking instructions from clients and preparing detailed attendance notes
* Preparing and reviewing contracts and supporting title documentation
* Initiating and reviewing searches
* Dealing with pre-contract enquiries
* Drafting of documents, letters, and reports
* Preparing and updating completion statements
* Processing exchange of contracts and post completion documentation
* Preparing and submitting SDLT forms
* General administrative duties
Who we’re looking for:
Suitable candidates are likely to have
* A law degree or equivalent
* Previous experience in supporting a residential conveyancing team with all aspects of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
* A sound understanding of the full conveyancing process
* A strong desire to progress your career to a fee earning role

This is a permanent position, working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. The role is fully office-based.
