You will be required to assemble and repair components in line with engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals (e.g., steel, stainless steel, aluminium)
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
* Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces before welding
* Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
* Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
* Carry out repairs and rework where necessary
* Maintain tools and welding equipment in good working condition
* Follow health & safety procedures, including use of PPE
* Work to production deadlines and maintain consistent output quality
* Collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and supervisors
You must have proven experience of MIG and TIG welding.
