Job description

🚀 Join Soben at a Pivotal Moment

Soben is an award-winning construction consultancy with bold ambitions and a clear trajectory for growth. Since launching in 2011, we’ve built a reputation for technical excellence, client focus, and delivery certainty. Now, we’re entering a transformative new chapter.

In March 2025, Soben became part of Accenture’s Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice, within its Industry X division. This strategic acquisition combines our deep expertise in cost and commercial management with Accenture’s global scale and digital innovation.

For our team, this unlocks a wealth of opportunity:

🌐 Access to world-class resources and technology, enhancing how we deliver capital projects

🏗️ Involvement in high-profile programmes across sectors such as data centres, energy, and pharmaceuticals

📈 Career development at scale, with exposure to international clients and cutting-edge project environments

💡 A platform for innovation, as we continue to challenge traditional consultancy models and lead digital transformation

About the opportunity

As our project portfolio continues to expand across the EMEA region, we are looking to appoint a Resourcing Lead (Scheduler) to support our operational teams in planning, coordinating, and optimising the deployment of our consultancy resources across projects.

In this role you will:

  • Act as the central point of coordination for resource planning across Soben’s EMEA consultancy projects.
  • Work closely with Operational Leads, Project Managers, and Directors to understand project requirements, timelines, and skill needs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate resource schedules, ensuring optimal utilisation across live and upcoming projects.
  • Proactively identify resourcing risks, conflicts, or capacity constraints and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Support short-term and long-term workforce planning, including forecasting future demand based on pipeline and growth plans.
  • Track utilisation, availability, and allocation data, producing clear and actionable reporting for leadership teams.
  • Support onboarding and mobilisation of new starters and project team members.
  • Collaborate with HR, recruitment partners, and leadership to align hiring activity with operational demand.
  • Continuously improve resourcing processes, tools, and ways of working, leveraging Accenture best practice where appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted partner to delivery teams.

About you

  • Previous experience in a resourcing, scheduling, workforce planning, or operations coordination role (consultancy, professional services, engineering, or construction environments preferred).
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and operational teams alike.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into practical resourcing decisions.
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to challenge and influence when required.
  • Experience using resourcing, scheduling, or workforce management tools is desirable (training can be provided).
  • A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.

About life at Soben

We’re on a mission to rewrite the rules.

We’re a diverse team of professionals who consider our work a vocation, not just a job. This sense of purpose and affinity for what we do is what fuels our ambition, driving us to keep learning and seeking new challenges. Inclusion is at the heart of our company’s culture. We’re proud of our unique personality, and we know that our diverse team brings a wealth of perspectives that enrich our work.

Grow with us

Our people are our greatest asset, so you’ll get ongoing training and personal development to help you flourish, building a long-term and successful career with us. We’re small but mighty – you’ll have opportunities to progress quickly and be trusted with responsibilities you could only dream of in a larger organization, including the chance to work on some of the industry's most exciting projects

Our Leadership Principles

Soben’s Leadership Principles are at the heart of our culture. They guide how we engage with each other and with our clients, and how we help our talented employees flourish in their careers.

  1. We always deliver on our promises, no matter how small
  2. We are driven to solve our clients’ problems as if paying our rent or mortgage depends on it
  3. We have a bias for action. Actions make things happen
  4. We employ the best people who are ambitious, hardworking, humble, and open to feedback. We empower them to “proceed until apprehended”
  5. We have a business owner mentality to cost management
  6. We are open, honest, and direct in our communications
  7. We have a growth mindset
  8. We reinvest our profits to create a sustainable business for the long term

About us

Soben is an award-winning construction consultancy with bold ambitions and a clear trajectory for growth. Since launching in 2011, we’ve built a reputation for technical excellence, client focus, and delivery certainty. Now, we’re entering a transformative new chapter.

If you’re ready to play a key role in delivering exceptional consultancy services across the EMEA region, and want to grow your career in a supportive, dynamic, and high-impact environment, we’d love to hear from you.
