    Job description

šŸš€ Join Soben at a Pivotal Moment

Soben is an award-winning construction consultancy with bold ambitions and a clear trajectory for growth. Since launching in 2011, we’ve built a reputation for technical excellence, client focus, and delivery certainty. Now, we’re entering a transformative new chapter.

In March 2025, Soben became part of Accenture’s Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice, within its Industry X division. This strategic acquisition combines our deep expertise in cost and commercial management with Accenture’s global scale and digital innovation.

For our team, this unlocks a wealth of opportunity:

🌐 Access to world-class resources and technology, enhancing how we deliver capital projects

šŸ—ļø Involvement in high-profile programmes across sectors such as data centres, energy, and pharmaceuticals

šŸ“ˆ Career development at scale, with exposure to international clients and cutting-edge project environments

šŸ’” A platform for innovation, as we continue to challenge traditional consultancy models and lead digital transformation

    About the opportunity

As our project portfolio continues to expand across the EMEA region, we are looking to appoint a Resourcing Lead (Scheduler) to support our operational teams in planning, coordinating, and optimising the deployment of our consultancy resources across projects.

    In this role you will:

    • Act as the central point of coordination for resource planning across Soben’s EMEA consultancy projects.
    • Work closely with Operational Leads, Project Managers, and Directors to understand project requirements, timelines, and skill needs.
    • Develop and maintain accurate resource schedules, ensuring optimal utilisation across live and upcoming projects.
    • Proactively identify resourcing risks, conflicts, or capacity constraints and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
    • Support short-term and long-term workforce planning, including forecasting future demand based on pipeline and growth plans.
    • Track utilisation, availability, and allocation data, producing clear and actionable reporting for leadership teams.
    • Support onboarding and mobilisation of new starters and project team members.
    • Collaborate with HR, recruitment partners, and leadership to align hiring activity with operational demand.
    • Continuously improve resourcing processes, tools, and ways of working, leveraging Accenture best practice where appropriate.
    • Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted partner to delivery teams.

    About you

    • Previous experience in a resourcing, scheduling, workforce planning, or operations coordination role (consultancy, professional services, engineering, or construction environments preferred).
    • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and operational teams alike.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into practical resourcing decisions.
    • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to challenge and influence when required.
    • Experience using resourcing, scheduling, or workforce management tools is desirable (training can be provided).
    • A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
