How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job description

Programme and Delivery Associate (Entry Level) for DiversITy-Talent (DVITT)

Entry level — full training and support provided, with a clear path to grow within the organisation

Reports To

Jeremy Blain, Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer, DiversITy-Talent

Location

Telford / West Midlands, with home-office working

Pay

£25,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience

About the Role

This is an entry-level opportunity to join DiversITy-Talent (DVITT) and help run a programme that supports schools, colleges, community groups and businesses. You'll help plan and deliver sessions, keep track of progress, and support the wider team — all while learning directly from experienced leaders.

No prior experience running a programme is required. We're looking for someone organised, enthusiastic and keen to learn, who will grow into the role with structured support from our Co-Founder, Jeremy Blain, and our CEO, Anna Somaiya. There is genuine potential to progress into a more senior programme or leadership role as you build experience with us.

You must be a self-motivated individual, demonstrating strong action-oriented initiative from the start. You also must have strong interpersonal communication skills, including being comfortable presenting in front of groups.

What You'll Be Doing

Running Programme Sessions

•     Help plan, prepare and deliver DVITT sessions in schools, colleges, partner offices and community locations.

•     Support extra sessions at other sites when needed.

•     Help keep learners engaged and attending regularly.

•     Make sure every session runs to a consistent, high standard, wherever it takes place.

•     Take ownership for the above through demonstrating initiative, action-orientation and strong interpersonal communication skills (Internally and with our partners and participants).

Supporting our Telford Expansion

•     Support in planning out the programme for the 2026–27 year.

•     Support Anna and Jeremy with new ideas, funding activity and programme improvements.

•     Take part in meetings, events and funding presentations, sharing your insights.

Keeping People in the Loop

•     Be the day-to-day point of contact for partners and internal teams — helping plan, communicate and solve problems as they come up.

•     Track shared goals (Key Performance Indicators - KPIs) with partners and report on progress monthly.

•     Join weekly team meetings to stay aligned with the wider facilitator team.

•     Help make sure sponsors feel informed and involved, including opportunities to get hands-on through mentoring.

•     Support PR and visibility opportunities for our partners.

Looking After Our Materials

•     Suggest improvements to workbooks, guides and learner materials (with approval from the team).

•     Help keep the website updated each month with new photos, videos and news.

•     Keep our shared Google Drive organised, accurate and easy for the team to use.

Reporting and Tracking Progress

•     Build and update a simple monthly dashboard (internal and funding-partner specific)

•     Write clear monthly reports for sponsors and funders, showing progress and results.

> The report will show how the programme is progressing across schools, colleges and communities in Telford / West Midlands especially.

•     Help pull together the end-of-year consolidated report summarising the year's results.

Working with the Facilitator Team

•     Join weekly catchups with the facilitator team, led by Jeremy and with peers as and when.

•     Gather updates and insights from facilitators for reporting.

•     Offer support and help solve problems for facilitators.

•     Help keep delivery quality consistent across every location.

Growth & Development

This role is designed as a launchpad. You'll receive hands-on mentoring from Jeremy and Anna, alongside other members of the team. You will get exposure to real strategic decision-making, and the chance to build skills across programme management, stakeholder engagement, facilitation and presentation, reporting and content creation. As you grow in confidence and capability, there is a clear route to take on more responsibility and progress within a fast-growing organisation.

You must be a self-starter and be prepared to take strong action-oriented initiative, demonstrating strong interpersonal communication skills and taking ownership for your deliverables.
