An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to join a well-established and growing structural engineering consultancy based in Banbury.
Working across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and sustainable building projects, this role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience within a supportive and close-knit team environment. The consultancy has built a strong reputation for delivering practical, innovative and cost-effective structural solutions across Oxfordshire and the wider UK.
This position would suit a recent graduate, or someone with up to 1 year of industry experience, who is eager to develop technically, learn from experienced engineers and build a long-term career within structural engineering.
The Role
Assist with the structural design of projects across a range of sectors
Work with steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures
Support senior engineers with calculations, drawings and technical reports
Attend site visits and project meetings
Gain exposure to refurbishment, heritage and sustainable construction projects
Develop knowledge of UK design standards and engineering softwareRequirements
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
Strong academic background and genuine enthusiasm for structural engineering
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Motivated, proactive and keen to learn
