Not every Head of People role comes with this level of impact.
We are working on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of People to join a well-known, high-profile organisation on a 12-month contract. This isn't a role where you'll simply keep the HR wheels turning. You'll lead a team of HR professionals, partnering with senior leadership to shape people strategy across multiple business areas.
You'll be responsible for:
-Leading a high-performing HR team
-Driving organisational development and workforce planning
-Coaching leaders through complex ER and change
-Developing talent, succession planning and leadership capability
-Overseeing reward, benefits, engagement and DE&I initiatives
-Using people data and insight to influence business decisions
We're looking for someone who:
-Has experience operating at Head of People or Senior HR Business Partner level within a UK-based private sector organisation of 1,500+ employees.
-Ideally comes from a retail, hospitality, media, leisure or similarly fast-paced customer-facing environment.
-Brings a strong mix of strategic thinking and operational delivery.
-Has experience leading and developing HR teams.
-Is confident influencing senior stakeholders and building credibility quickly.
-Has excellent UK employment law knowledge.
-Enjoys working in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
