Smile Education is working with a welcoming secondary school seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to cover maternity leave from June to December 2026. The successful candidate will teach French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4 on a part-time basis.
This role would suit an experienced teacher, ECT, or a teacher returning to the classroom looking for a better work-life balance.
🏫 The Role
Teach French and Spanish across KS3–KS4
Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
Support students’ progress and language development
Maintain positive behaviour and classroom standards
Work collaboratively with the wider MFL department✅ What We’re Looking For
QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
Ability to teach both French and Spanish
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management
