Private Client Lawyer — Position Overview:
The successful Private Client Lawyer will handle a varied caseload covering all aspects of private client work, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Probate matters. The firm is open to both qualified solicitors and experienced paralegals, offering flexibility in seniority and working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities of the Private Client Lawyer role:
- Managing a caseload of private client matters including Wills, LPAs, and Probate
- Providing clear, empathetic advice to clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting with business development and client referrals where appropriate
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and firm procedures
- Experience in private client work (Wills, LPAs, Probate essential)
- Open to solicitors, legal executives, or experienced paralegals
- STEP qualification is not required
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Salary £35,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
- Bonus scheme linked to performance and firm-wide targets
