Are you a proactive problem-solver who loves to stay active? At PostNL in Halfweg, we are looking for a logistics employee who can handle more than just the basics. You are the person who keeps the engine running, ensures quality, and makes sure every parcel is ready for the road.
What will you be doing?
In this versatile role, you are responsible for the entire flow of the warehouse. Your daily tasks include:
- The Essentials: Stacking parcels onto the sorting belts and moving roll containers (RCs) to their designated spots.
- Quality & Recovery: Collecting "error parcels" from the bins, scanning them to identify the issue, and getting them back into the process. You also repair damaged parcels to ensure they arrive safely.
- Distribution: Handing out SKP bags to the correct sorting lanes and bringing corrected parcels to the right drivers or the induction area.
- Communication: Acting as a link between the planning office and the drivers when deviations occur.
- Preparation & Maintenance: After the sorting process, you organize the RCs, attach the correct labels, and ensure the warehouse and outdoor area are swept clean and tidy.
When do you work?
Our operation runs from Monday to Saturday. Choose a start time of 05:45 AM or 07:15 AM and finish your shift by 01:00 PM, working at least two days a week with Monday being a mandatory workday.
What will you earn?
We offer a solid base salary of 14.71 gross per hour. On top of your wage, you accrue 8% holiday pay and 10% holiday hours. While we occasionally offer Saturday shifts with a 40% bonus (20.59 p/h), our focus is on building a reliable weekday crew.
