As a Financial Controller, you will work together with the Manager Financial Control on the preparation of internal and external management reports. You switch with Business Control over analyses of the financial figures and KPIs. This is a broad financial role in which you can fully develop yourself.
Tasks
Your responsibilities
- Monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process
- Analysis and actions on balance sheet specifications
- Assisting in filling reporting packs
- Executing periodic internal control programs
- Documenting controls (e.g. Assessing journal entries, reconciling administration with reporting pack, checking master data, etc.)
- Assisting with accounting issues and preparing accounting papers (e.g. Impairment tests, valuation of stock, provisions, etc.)
- Assisting with annual accounts
- Assisting with internal and external audits, following up on action points, etc.
- Ad hoc reporting (e.g. CBS statistics, project reports)
Requirements
Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Economics;
- You are good at drawing up financial reports, executing the P&C cycle and identifying improvements in the AO/IC;
- 3 years + of experience in the position of Financial Controller;
- Experience from an accountancy firm is a plus;
- You are ready for a step in your career and enjoy working in a dynamic, globally operating company;
- You speak good Dutch and English.
