What are my responsibilities?
Cima is a rooftop spot with a Mexican pulse and a taste for trouble. Sunsets over the city, taptails with a twist and bites that match the drinks. Picture homemade, garden-inspired cocktails on tap, crafted in-house with authentic ingredients from passionate local suppliers. Pair that with seasonal dishes with a unique twist and you have an edgy, fun rooftop escape in the heart of Amsterdam, alive with nighttime energy and bold city spirit.
As Head Bartender, you are the driving force behind the bar. You lead the team, shape the drinks and set the rhythm of the rooftop.
You will:
Lead the bar team and keep service running smoothly, especially when the rooftop is buzzing.
Create bold cocktails and seasonal drinks that reflect the spirit of Cima.
Train and inspire the bar team, sharing your knowledge and raising the bar every day.
Keep a close eye on stock, orders and cost control to ensure the bar runs efficiently.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation.
Deliver memorable guest experiences and confidently handle any challenges that come your way.
Work closely with the wider team to keep the energy high and the rooftop alive.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Head Bartender who brings leadership, creativity and a strong sense of hospitality to the bar. You know your spirits, you enjoy experimenting with flavours and you have the confidence to guide a team while keeping the guest experience front and centre.
You:
Have several years of experience behind the bar, including a leadership or senior role.
Have advanced mixology, spirits, wine and beer knowledge (Tequila and Mezcal knowledge is a big plus).
Have strong inventory management.
Enjoy mentoring and developing others and stay calm and organised during busy services.
Communicate fluently in English. Any other language is a plus.
Are responsible, energetic and always looking for ways to elevate the experience.
Are available to work different shifts and days.
Are eligible to work in the Netherlands.
