This is a unique position for an entrepreneurial managing director with network and knowledge (purchase and key account management) into food and feed ingredients.
What are you going to do?You are going to develop and implement the strategy for CirQlar into a European business. The current organization is split in different regions and you will lead this change and guide your team in to the next phase. The current team is around 75 people and most of them are located in the Netherland and the UK.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Director with a proven track record in building and scaling organizations within the food industry, particularly focusing on food by-products and sustainability. As a leader in our organization, you will play a crucial role in navigating the complex landscape of food residuals and transforming them into valuable resources. As MD you represent the company as the face of this transitional journey towards a more sustainable future.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the organization focusing on sustainability and efficient use of (food) coproducts and residuals
- Managing the team (around 75 fte) both in UK and in Netherlands, Belgium and Germany
- Develop the business in terms of Volume (T), EBIT and Cash
- Cultivate new key accounts (procurement), leading to increased sourcing and business growth
- Drive innovation in coproducts, fuel and residuals, aligning with the company’s vision and sustainability goals
- Participate in M&A projects to broaden and deepen CirQlar

Job-requirements:
- Relevant working experience in the Food or Feed business is required.
- Fluent in German, Dutch and English (both speaking and writing)
- Passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact.
- Travel frequently through Europe
