Your goalAt Marktlink we are seeking a Financial Controller who will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance department. As our Financial Controller you will primarily be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our Dutch brands and holding companies including the monthly closing process, consolidation, financial statements, preparations for the yearly audit and tax compliance.
Due to our continued and steep growth it is time to further optimize our financial processes. You will play a key role in this. Next to that you will be the main point of contact for the auditors.

- Making monthly corrections, making reconciliations, handling month-end closings and financial reporting;
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including WKR, VAT & CIT;
- Optimize accounting processes and assist in various financial tasks;
- Prepare the consolidation and eliminations;
- Supervise the recharges amongst the group;
- Coordinate the process of the statutory financial statements and coordinate the group audit;
- Coach the accounts payable and accounts receivable team to ensure their work is in line with local requirements;
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to stay informed about financial topics in each country.
You have a proactive approach and find fulfillment in supporting colleagues. You are detail-oriented, numerically strong, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Next to that we would like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting;
- Proficiency in financial software, such as Exact Online (LucaNet is a pré);
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Fluent in English and Dutch;
- Professional certifications such as RA or AA are a plus.
