Vlastuin in Gieten, a workshop for trailers and trucks, is looking for a business manager to take charge of daily operations and shape the company's growth. As part of this small but important team of 6 (growing to 8) employees, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal processes, customer satisfaction, and delivery reliability.

As business manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of the Gieten location and work closely with the Management Team in Kesteren. You translate the company's objectives into concrete plans for the workshop, ensuring everything runs smoothly, from accepting orders to monitoring delivery reliability and quality of services.
You are also commercially involved, maintaining customer relationships and ensuring Vlastuin Gieten develops as a reliable partner in the market for maintenance and service of trailers and trucks.
In this diverse role, you lead the team and ensure a good working atmosphere where employees can perform optimally. You also play a key role in personnel planning, HR interviews, and process optimization. Together with the Finance department, you keep the company financially healthy, including budgeting and reporting to the management.
Vlastuin in Gieten offers various services as a universal and dealer workshop, including maintenance and repairs of trucks, trailers, and semi-trailers. They also deliver new trucks and are a Ford truck dealer and D-TEC trailer dealer. The Gieten location has a small but dedicated team of 6 people. Vlastuin is a family business that started as a blacksmith shop in 1959 and has grown into a group of leading companies in the metal sector, employing 350 people.
We are looking for a business manager who is practical and can switch between the shop floor and management. You have experience leading a production or maintenance environment, know how to set up processes efficiently, and have good commercial insight. Your leadership is people-oriented and coaching, motivating and developing your employees. Safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are your top priorities.
