At Chargee, as a Product Owner, you lead the development of a smart and scalable energy system that measures, predicts, and controls real‑time consumption. You translate vision into working software – with direct impact on both consumers and the market.

As Senior Product Owner you move between strategy and execution: from product vision and roadmap to backlog, sprints, and making sharp choices about what really makes a difference. All without losing the pace of a startup.

• You define the roadmap for our products together with the founders and the multidisciplinary team.

• You translate market and customer needs into concrete priorities with maximum impact.

• You maintain the balance between product quality, technical feasibility, learning speed, and stability.

You work in a team of about 12 colleagues (backend, data science, product) that will grow to 25 people in the coming years. You are strong in content, guiding, and have the mentality of working together hands‑on.

• Manage the backlog: prioritise based on value, risk, and effort, and clearly substantiate those choices.

• Daily coordination with engineers, data scientists, and product experts to turn ideas into working software and infrastructure.

• Close alignment with founders, market partners, and end users to ensure we build what matters, not just what is technically possible.

You have done this a few times before: guiding products through an early growth phase, ideally B2C or data‑intensive. You think systemically but remain pragmatic: you know when something is “good enough” to test and when to push for robustness.

• Senior in product development, with experience in cross‑functional teams and scaling challenges.

• Technically oriented: you have a dev background or affinity and understand infrastructure, APIs, data flows, and devices.

• Conceptually strong: you turn a complex market into a clear product story.

• Operationally skilled: sharp in planning, priorities, and progress.

• Empathetic leader with low ego and high ownership; you motivate in a mature, social way without formal hierarchy. You thrive in a chaotic environment, where everything is in motion.

Experience in IoT, energy, mobility, or other data‑intensive products is a big plus, as is familiarity with both consumer products and B2B platforms.

You join at a phase where v1 of the product is live and already serves a large user base. Your role grows with the company: from Product Owner to someone who takes broader ownership over multiple teams and propositions.

We are a “smart‑energy ” company with its head office in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. We’re developing an app to provide better insight into consumer energy by means of our own hardware dongle and our data analytics technology. We use IoT, AI, Data Lakes and micro services to translate real‑time insights into actions. We do this with the ambition of at least 100,000 customers in the next 3 years.
